Associate – Partnerships, Communications and Branding, ELMS Sports Foundation

Project Chhalaang, an initiative by ELMS Sports Foundation is seeking candidates for the position of Manager: Communications and Branding to work on creating and developing the strategies and systems for external as well as internal communications purposes. With a mission to make Right to Play a reality for every child in India, and a vision to make a million children play by 2027, Project Chhalaang was launched by ELMS Sports Foundation in 2022 as a flagship initiative. The partnerships and communications vertical has a unique challenge of building the brand and creating awareness about Project Chhalaang across the ecosystem, at the same time supporting the team to create valuable knowledge resources in the domain of Physical Literacy and Sports for Development.


  • Manage end to end communication with the existing partners – funding partners as well as program partners.
  • Conducting basic research to look for potential partners and explore synergies.

Communications :

  • Assist in the execution of communications strategies.
  • Create and edit communications copy (e.g. press releases, publications, social media
  • posts).
  • Help to maintain web content and implementation of social media strategies.
  • Oversee internal communications and distribution channels.


  • Assist the team in preparing presentations and reports.
  • Help in researching, writing and editing content for distribution including photos and videos.
  • Help the team develop public relations and promotional materials including the creation and distribution programs.
  • Regularly collect data, prepare reports/presentations and evaluate the status of the organizations public image and make recommendations for expanding or improving the public image.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, media or related field.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of various social media platforms, including Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook along with an understanding of social media strategies and media relations.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and an understanding of various design software.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
