Communications Specialist at Strides Pharma, Bangalore

We are seeking for 6-8 years of experienced and dynamic Internal & External Communications professional to

join our team. Should be a great storyteller and content writer with outstanding project management skills.

Main responsibilities will include creating informative content to share company’s value proposition with our

internal & external stakeholders across the globe.

The candidate is expected to build and execute various integrated campaigns and communications programmes

for Strides in India. Planning and executing a sustainable approach to PR in line with overall communication

objective of Strides. Craft core narrative and key messaging for all the initiatives of strides and establish a

structured calendarised approach. Drive strong digital communications via various digital channels like websites

and social media platforms. Develop and maintain blogs, video feeds, trending social networking sites and

resource centres

You should be comfortable working in a flexible and agile environment. Demonstrating the ability to manage

multiple projects, prioritize and manage time effectively are crucial to the success of the role.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Support for internal & external communication: Internal (50%) External (PR & Digital) (50%)

• Manage and coordinate with agencies day to day basis


• Leading the development and implementation of the internal communication strategy and plans

• Ensuring accuracy, clarity and consistency of company-wide communications that align with

organization’s goals. Evaluating and measuring the effectiveness of communication to ensure delivery of

key messages

• Developing scripts, storyboards, and executive remarks for internal-facing videos

• Providing ideation and content support for employee town halls, All Hands Meet, Monthly Newsletter,

announcements, corporate memos, videos, employee engagement events and contributing to corporate

campaigns and internal branding initiatives

• Continually improve communications effectiveness by utilizing innovative ways to engage employees

Work closely on revamp and management of company Intranet portal

Public Relations:

• Develop implement corporate PR strategies and campaigns for Strides Pharma

• Closely work with key internal stakeholders including teams from marketing, content, products to flesh

out stories that may enhance the brand and take those external

• Capable of independently managing various PR programmes under tighter deadline

• Support for crises communication threat against business continuity

• Producing in-depth quantitative and qualitative written reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

and ad-hoc as required to highlight PR activities and results achieved.

• Identify external events in line with the corporate narrative for sponsorship, thought leadership branding

and work internally both approvals, identification of spokespersons, content etc. for such participation.

• Develop and maintain credible relationships with key journalists and senior editors of national media

across channels electronic, print, and digital.

Digital Communications:

• Enhance Strides social media presence across platforms

• Managing Social channels and online reputation management (ORM) to ensure timely action on negative


• Responsible for planning & implementing digital PR campaigns in line with the business goals.

• Ensuring innovation of the website; making necessary changes on the website to make the content

engaging and relevant.

Skills and attributes:

• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

• Strong content writing, editing and storytelling skills

• A good team player with a positive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Proactive with a can-do attitude, full of great ideas and ability to get stuff done autonomously.

• Keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize

• Strong copywriting skills, especially for online audiences.

• Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and create clear communications.


• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Communication

• 6-8 years of experience focusing Internal, Public Relations & Digital communications
