The Role:This is a singular opportunity to help lead a diverse and talented team of communications professionals promoting Moody’s position in markets across APAC as an integrated risk assessment firm. The Vice President, APAC Communications, reporting to the SVP Head of APAC Communications, is responsible for initiating, maintaining and managing communications, media relations, and impactful content for the APAC region.Responsibilities:

  • Manage, engage and motivate a high-performing team of expert communicators, encompassing mentorship, professional development of directs and effective delegation
  • Lead the execution of simultaneous strategic communications campaigns that promote Moody’s reputation, market insights and integrated risk assessment solutions in the region
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to senior leadership at Moody’s and its affiliates
  • Serve as a champion for innovation, collaboration, coordination and effective communication internally (including peer functions within the Global Communications & Marketing Team – Corporate Communications, Employee/Executive Communications and Brand Management/Marketing)
  • Support high-growth markets in APAC for Moody’s with broader, strategic communications strategies
  • Provide communications counsel and support in times of crisis and other business continuity event
  • Serve as a leading participant in important regional or global strategic business initiatives, as needed
