The candidate will work with the Internal Communications Lead, under the direction of the Global HR Head to drive communication efforts for Wipro Engineering Edge (WEE) Global Business Line (GBL). The candidate will execute on the communications strategy, develop, and sustain campaigns, write short-form and long-form content, proof/edit written word for the business, and leverage different tools to design collateral inline with the brand guidelines and vision. The candidate will leverage different communication tools and vehicles to deliver the key messages and assist leaders and associates align with the organisational vision. The candidate will develop strong relationships with stakeholders across levels and business to provide the necessary counsel and support. The candidate will also provide strategic input to the Internal Comms Lead in enhancing existing strategy for greater reach and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
ideation and development: Ideate and create content themes for various communication campaigns to cascade the key messages. Generate short-form and long-form content for a range of communication vehicles within the themes. This includes articles, leadership announcements, technical blogs, customer success stories, newsletters, employee spotlights, and videos etc.
Leverage tools like Canva and PowerPoint to create designs for various campaigns and communication formats. This will include general announcements, people process updates, thought leadership articles, townhalls, employee engagement initiatives, and periodic business reviews etc.
and communities’ engagement: Increase adoption of Wipro’s Intranet and communities amongst the business and drive communication efforts. This will include creating communities, driving engagement, generating content, updating the intranet with the latest in business and industry, and keeping employees informed and engaged.
and Monitoring: Develop understanding on workplace experience tools like Poppulo to efficiently manage content dissemination. Measure the effectiveness of various communications campaign, plans, themes, and the larger strategy by leveraging the data and insights from the platform.
improvement: Provide feedback and insights and working closely with the Internal Communications Lead to strengthen the communication strategy and improve engagement.
and DEI communications:Assist the DEI council in successfully executing DEI and culture initiatives and by generating content for various campaigns.
engagement:Work closely with different teams within and outside the GBL to execute on the expectations listed above. Become an advisor to the leadership team in all matters related to communication and be a partner to all employees to ensure effective communication within Wipro.
Required experience and skills:
have 7 to 8 years of relevant communication experience working with a large and matrixed organisation.
writing skills with an expertise for storytelling. Should have written content for a range of communication media.
working on design tools like Canva, Visme, and MS-PowerPoint to generate design collaterals for various campaigns. Proficiency in Adobe’ design solution is an added advantage.
