About the Program
The Youth program’s objective is to provide a holistic development platform for young people as well as provide a lifelong, continuous learning opportunity to disadvantaged youth. We use content, pedagogy and technology, to drive the delivery of teaching and learning. Through our signature blended learning approach we develop critical life-work skills that are critical for success in the 21st century. Our curriculum includes media elements like games, videos, audio, and visuals as well as the use of dictionaries for vernacular translations.
Capacity Building @Youth Program
The Youth Program at Quest Alliance is a program focussed on building youth employability through the use of educational technology to foster self learning and 21st century skills. This role is a part of the Capacity Building (CB) team of the Youth Program. Capacity Building is a multidisciplinary team that works at the intersection of training, content development, research and technology for the education and employability sector. The goal of the CB team is to create engaging learning experiences across the spectrum of our stakeholders – Youth, Educators, Leaders & Parents. As a team, CB is continuously working on new innovations using learner-centric design, adult learning principles, blended learning approach to make our learning experience truly facilitative and self learning focussed.
About the Role
As an Associate Manager – Content, Youth Program, you will work as part of the Youth Employability program of Quest Alliance. You will apply your human-centered and learner-centered design skills to help further our mission of creating self-learning experiences for our key stakeholders – learners and educators as part of the Capacity Building team.
You will be instrumental in reaching QUEST’s digital and print curriculum to our stakeholders across India, and also support all quality management & capacity building initiatives of the Capacity Building team.
Role & Responsibilities:
Content Management
Anchor the design and development of content by conceptualizing the blueprints
Create quality guidelines and design documents to enable effective development of content aligned to larger learning experience standards of Quest Alliance.
Review content for quality and alignment with guidelines and standards.
Project Management
Plan, create and maintain timeline and tracker tools for managing projects
Set up regular cadences such as daily stand ups and daily mailers to closely track project completion, anticipate roadblocks and solve for issues.
Own and run the process of creating feedback loops for getting regular feedback on content from program teams
Analyze feedback data and implement improvements to content and processes
Support in Training Design and Delivery
Review sessions on the content and pedagogy in the ToT design and ensure accurate, updated and comprehensive information is shared
Deliver sessions on content if necessary to support the state and program teams
Relationship Management – Stakeholders (internal and external)
Orient, support & onboard consultants for projects assigned
Support consultants in review and oversee the quality of delivery
Qualification & Skill Sets
Minimum 4 to 6 years of work experience, in content development and project management
Experience working on employability, skilling, and 21st century skills.
Experience with learning experience design, edtech and pedagogy/androgogy
Willingness to learn and influence prevalent practices in skilling/employability ecosystem
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
Fluency in MS Office Suite/Google content management tools such a Docs, Spreadsheets, Forms and Slides
Willingness to travel when necessary
Ability to work independently as well as col
