As the Communications Associate, you will be responsible for developing content (both longform and short-form), enhancing our digital presence on platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter, creating program collaterals and developing other documents as and when necessary. The ideal candidate should be creative, possess strong writing skills, and be adept at managing
multiple tasks simultaneously

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Communications Associate, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Creating engaging content to drive user engagement on ILSS’ social media channels,

including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, through the planning,

developing, and launching campaigns for ongoing and upcoming ILSS programs.

• Developing written content for ILSS’s outreach and communications, including emailers,

brochures, reports, press releases, interviews, and marketing collaterals, in alignment

with ILSS brand guidelines.

• Proofreading and editing documents to ensure adherence to the ILSS Style Guide.

• Developing communication content from the ILSS team to external stakeholders for

events and partnerships, such as posters, outreach emails, and partnership emails.

• Managing and regularly updating the ILSS database.

• Supporting the team in outreach, marketing efforts, and program management.

• Monitoring data and analytics for our social media assets.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a reputed university.

• 3-4 years of work experience in content creation, communication roles, media teams etc.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong editing and proofreading skills, with an eye for design and detail.

• Strong creative and aesthetic sense.

• Experience in a marketing and communications role is an added advantage.

• Strong planning and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently, without supervision.

• Proficiency in designing platforms/software such as Canva, Mailchimp, Photoshop, etc,

is an added advantage.
