Scope:
The communication manager is responsible for communication strategies towards GCP&SO hierarchical & functional scope:
Main Responsibilities:
Manage all GCP&SO SVP and GCP Ops SVP communications (Open Lines, global internal and external presentations, roundtables, seminars, events, town halls, publications…)
Capture the communication needsfor GCP&SO & GCP Ops leaders 2 times a year. For major global initiatives/campaigns, produce and deliver the communication plan (media/timing/cadence/messages). For less critical initiatives deployment, provide coaching and advice to business leaders for them to drive.
Create and update communication contenttowards employees leveraging appropriate tools and channels (Eg: SPICE, Yammer, Newsletters, …), managing leadership events (Open line, seminars…). Ensures appealing communication content without duplication or overlap between global, GCP&SO and other entities (GCP Ops, DPAC etc), being mindful not to create volume of comms and inefficiencies across channels.
Establish and oversee a network of communication correspondents’main entities & geographies to facilitate and ensure upward, downward, and cross-functional information flow.
Develop a network of cost-competitive internal/external communication partners/vendors (including freelancers) to create content (videos, posters, decks)
Review communications towards GCP Ops Customersand ensure compliance with the charter, priorities, and our value propositions.
Design and implement, given the case, crisis communication plan, aligned with the corporate process and guidelines.
Define upstream clear roles and responsibilities and organize dedicated training, if necessary, with other departments involved.
Manage the communication budget, including vendor selection, negotiation, and oversight.
Analyze the impact of communication actions through digital surveys (Survey Monkey or equivalent), make decisions for adjustments, and communicate the results.

Communication Tools & Social Media Proficiency: Experience with communication tools such as Suite Adobe (Première Pro, Photoshop, After Effect, InDesign) to create and manage communication content. Fluent with internal & external social media (Linkedin, Achievers, Step-up, …) and digital tools (Spice, Teams, Sharepoint) effectively.
Networking within SE: Ability to build and maintain a network within Schneider Electric to facilitate effective information flow and collaboration.
Functional Leadership & Influence: Ability to effectively lead and influence a network of communication correspondents and providers, fostering collaboration and aligning efforts towards common communication objectives.
Excellent Writing Skills: Proficient in written communication, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and effective written content.
