Role Overview:
As a Public Relations & Marcom Head with ITC Hotels, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public relations and marketing communication initiatives to enhance the brand reputation, increase brand awareness, and drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the Marketing team, Hotel Managers, and external agencies to identify opportunities and implement effective PR and marketing campaigns.
As the Brand Ambassador for both the unit and the organization and you will be required to be aware updated with the latest industry trends and practices. The PR &Marcom role demands a very swift speed of response and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
External Communications:
· Work closely with internal stakeholders and spokespeople to drive positive, innovative and impactful communication campaigns from start to finish to enhance the firm’s reputation.
· Build and maintain relationships with key media representatives, influencers, and industry leaders to generate positive media coverage and brand exposure
· Develop media content like press releases, articles, statements, quotes, product information docs, and Q&A responses
· Work closely with internal stakeholders and spokespeople to drive positive, innovative and impactful communication campaigns from start to finish to enhance the organisation’s reputation
· Plan and execute media events, such as press conferences, media familiarisation trips, and new hotel launches, to promote the organisation’s offerings
· Monitor and analyse media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and develop proactive PR initiatives. Establish metrics for campaigns and evaluate the impact
· Crisis preparedness and management: develop a plan and statements, align with Head – Corporate Communication, ITC Limited – Hotels Division, ensure compliance/legal approvals towards mitigative action for the media
· Work closely with internal stakeholders and spokespeople to drive positive, innovative and impactful communication campaigns from start to finish to enhance the firm’s reputation.
· Deliver effective and well-thought-out media contact programmes for key spokespeople and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as the marketing team and media outlets
· Create and update the digital asset library of the brand by enabling high-quality and impactful photography and videography with a focus on experiential content
· Create and take ownership of budgeting exercise for the unit ensuring effective utilisation of resources to create maximum impact
Internal Communications:
· Responsible for PR & Marketing Communication-related audit points during Corporate and Divisional Audit ensuring 100% compliance towards social media management, online reputation management for social media platforms, PR events, content parity on ITC Hotels website and Marriott along with influencer engagement
· Liaise with agencies for developing design collateral like mailers, posters, etc
Social Media Marketing:
· Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
· Create multi-channel social calendars with complete ownership of the copy
· Define important social media KPIs, set specific objectives, and report on ROI
· Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
· Communicate with followers and respond to queries in a timely manner
· Engage in social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions on a real-time basis
· Measure the success of every social media campaign
· Analyse competitor activity on a regular basis
· Work closely with designers and agency partners to ensure impactful content quality
· Suggest and implement new content types to develop brand awareness and drive engagement
Qualifications and Requirements:
· 5 + years of experience in the same industry is preferred
· MBA/MA in Media, Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Marketing
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent copywriting skills
· Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment coordinating with various stakeholders for the successful execution of projects
· Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
· Knowledge of online marketing channels
· A creative bent of mind, with an ability to generate ideas independently and drive engagement on internal communication platforms
