Bajaj Allianz Life is looking for a skilled Corporate Communications Manager with 7-8 years of experience. Should have a strong background in PR, media relations, and content strategy, preferably with experience in insurance or BFSI.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. PR Execution & Media Relations
▪ Manage day-to-day activities for the PR team; and contribute towards building and executing strategic plans
▪ Act as the primary point of contact for media outreach, maintaining strong relationships with journalists and editors
across, offline, online and electronic media.
▪ Proactively identify PR story opportunities, pitch them to the media in alignment with the company’s key messages.
▪ Independently ideate, plan and execute PR activities for certain designated functions.
▪ Work closely with the PR agency to maximize media exposure and coverage, ensuring that PR goals and timelines are
met.
2. Content Oversight & Strategic Communication
▪ Perform the first review of content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, Company’s tone, language and key
messaging.
▪ Collaborate in drafting, editing, and refining communication such as press releases, articles, consumer queries and
briefing documents.
▪ Coordinate with internal teams to understand various developments within their functions and assist in developing
communications around it.
▪ Preparing, maintaining and sharing coverages / dossiers in a timely manner.
3. Corporate Communications Support
▪ Support corporate communication initiatives, including partner, stakeholder, and vendor communications.
▪ Participate in award nomination processes, assisting with submissions and document preparation.
▪ Scout for speaker opportunities and coordinate with the organizers for all requirements.
▪ Contribute to the development of reports and dossiers, ensuring timely delivery to stakeholders.
▪ Prepare weekly, fortnightly and monthly reports diligently and share them with relevant stakeholders.
4. Vendor, Financial, and Compliance Management
▪ Ensure all contracts and vendor agreements are executed and in place on time, adhering to company policies and
timelines.
▪ Oversee timely processing and approval of bills, coordinating with finance and obtaining the necessary approvals to
ensure accurate payments.
▪ Obtain all necessary compliance approvals before releasing any content, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company
standards.
Educational Qualifications
Qualifications
▪ Graduation (MBA/ Post Graduation in journalism and mass communication will be an advantage)
Work Experience
▪ 6-8 years of experience in the field or related
▪ Can be from Agency background with exposure to financial clients and life insurance
▪ Can be from life insurance or general insurance
Skills
▪ Excellent communication skill both in verbal & writing
▪ Strong media contacts within BFSI/ Life Insurance Vertical
▪ Collaborate and co-ordinate with multiple teams
▪ Should be able to multitask seamlessly and meticulously
▪ Time management
